Domain theft continues to remain as one of the hottest issues affecting domainers.
The formerly stolen domain, Emulate.com, has been returned to its legitimate owners, Dave and Susan Neyland.
After providing detailed documentation and evidence of lawful ownership of the domain, the gaining registrar, Internet BS, returned the domain that had been stolen from a GoDaddy account via email phishing.
Emulate.com is no longer stolen, and its owners are documenting the hoops that had to jump through in order to reclaim their digital asset.
Special thanks to Joe Styler of GoDaddy for providing important guidance to handle this case, which took less than 90 days to complete.
Domain investors should enable two factor authentication at GoDaddy, and any other registrar that offers it.
