DomainIQ is an online domain tool that provides extensive domain intelligence, not just good old plain WHOIS information.
Accessible from DomainIQ.com, the tool is a service by Estibot, the brainchild of Finnish programmer, Esa-Pekka Palvimaki.
The API provided by DomainIQ is being used by DoFo, Francois Carrillo’s WHOIS lookup platform, and although it’s quite stable, yesterday we managed to break it. 😉
But no worries, a whimsical error screen popped up, informing us that “Teams of Finnish moose have been deployed to investigate the issue.”
Programmers have a quirky sense of humor, and it shows. 😀
