DXC Technology bought the domain DXC.com for $64,500 dollars in 2015, but opted to forward it to a new gTLD, .Technology.

The company actively uses the dot .Technology domain as a prime example of keyword+TLD pair that forms the brand. This “domain hack” approach is popular and effective with SEO according to Google.
DXC Technology won a UDRP it filed against DXC.ai. The latter is a company providing “Auth Intelligence, centralized, simple, and manageable for your domains.” They will now have to perform a domain rebranding.
It’s definitely refreshing and intriguing at the same time, seeing how DXC Technology uses DXC.com as a $64,500 dollar URL forwarder!
