In a world of expanding gTLDs, one man is on a mission: to find the perfect .OCM domain.
Frankie DiCicco of Boston, Massachusetts, is a former used car salesman, who spends most of his time researching domains online and he’s frustrated by the lack of any good keywords.
“Every single .OCM domain that I have looked up is gone. It doesn’t resolve and can’t register it. It’s impossible. I might have to give up and go back to selling cars at the local Honda dealership,” says DiCicco, who suffers from dyslexia.
Thousands of other dyslexic Americans are having a hard time too, and DiCicco wants to form a union in order to join forces in their research for the perfect .OCM domain.
He calls his group, Domainers Amonymous.
“Life’s hard when you’re dyslexic, things come out different than they are. But we can do it, and I’m seeking others to form a joint venture with,” says DiCicco.
“United, we might be able to score the best .OCM domains, I am positive some good ones are out there somewhere, and we’d sell them for millions of dollars and split the profits,” he adds.
During our interview with Frankie DiCicco, we didn’t have the heart to tell him his quest for .OCM domains might continue to produce zero results, for a very long time.
