Escrow.com, the industry’s most respected handler of domain transactions, recently moved to San Fransisco.
Leaving the iconic Rancho Santa Margarita address behind was a hard task for the Escrow.com officers and employees, who will now have to get used to a new HQ address.
The new address, 180 Montgomery St, Suite 650, San Francisco, CA 94104, clearly lacks the spicy character and unique elements of the former address.
“I’m completely devastated by the change of address across our letterhead and business cards, and most importantly, moving so far away from Maria Bonita – the Rancho Santa Margarita taco joint where we had plenty of great times and lots of margaritas,” said Jackson Elsegood, General Manager for Escrow.com.
“While there are some nice places for Mexican food here in San Francisco, we’ll miss the old place, for sure,” added Elsegood, munching on a not-so-appetizing Taco Bell chalupa.
Escrow.com will now auction off the old address at Rancho Santa Margarita, in hopes that an enterprising company will use it as their headquarters.
“We’d love to see a great company take over our previous quarters, which we thoroughly cleaned before leaving, and naturally, the auction will take place via Escrow.com,” said Jackson Elsegood, smiling wryly.
For now, visit Escrow.com for your domain escrow needs.
