Failed venture? Shh.com goes back to Brent Oxley’s stable of domains

Three letter .com domains are the quintessential, liquid coin of domain investors—that’s not a secret.

In early 2024, we noted that domain investor Brent Oxley acquired SHH.com from its Chinese registrant.

Later last year, SHH.com was sold by Oxley to someone hosting a privacy portal called SHH. They proclaimed to roll out a service that could instantly start encrypted chats from any app.

That venture didn’t seem to go far, however.

The SHH project appears to have been scrapped. Not only that: SHH.com is now back in Brent Oxley’s possession and it’s available for sale. The minimum asking price is $200,000 dollars.

Buying back a quality three letter .com domain with tons of potential is a strategic move that many seasoned domain investors make; this showcases the beauty of how liquid LLL .com domains can be.
