After perusing the lists of recent domain sales by Sedo and Afternic, a strange pattern emerged.
Premium domain names, worth thousands of dollars, are being sold at sub-prime prices.
In all of these transactions, the buyer was Danish model and entrepreneur, Martjin Rasmuunssen.
“He is a very attractive man, and a smooth talker, he completely swept me off my feet,” said Mexican domain investor, Palomita Velasquez.
“After just an hour of negotiations in person, I gave him a huge discount – and my heart!” said Velasquez.
Martjin Rasmuunssen’s company, Danish Man Trust, is based in Copenhagen.
According to the Danish Man Trust web site, they are funding orphanages in India, Pakistan and China, but so far it is unknown why they are focusing on acquiring premium domains.
“Believe me, he is a combination of Thor, and John Holmes!” exclaimed Rhode Island domain owner, Jennifer Cabriani.
“My God, the things he did with his hands, before I surrendered two three-letter .com domains at a price I wouldn’t have sold them to my own family!” added Cabriani, sighing.
If you are approached by Martjin Rasmuunssen for a domain that you own, make sure that you refuse his advances, or you may leave a lot of money on the table; and keep your wife or daughter away from his remarkable flirting technique.
Awesome! I didn’t know Jennifer was a domainer though!
