In two weeks, the almighty Apple will be rolling out its Apple Watch to hundreds of thousands of ‘early adopters‘, who will – for a change – be able to order the item online only, instead of populating queues outside of Apple stores in embarrassment.
Is the technology so groundbreaking in order to justify spending the hundreds of dollars on a piece of jewelry that has been rendered obsolete by the adoption of smart phones?
We’ll have to wait and see how it all goes.
For the time being, our choice of investment is that of quad-copter drones, and there are two new great ones to buy; one is available now, and one will be on April 13th.
DJI, operating from DJI.com, is offering the Phantom 3, a redesigned system that offers extreme maneuverability, streamlining the experience of flying the quad-copter drone.
It has an upgraded GPS with 10 point accuracy, so that the drone always knows where it is. There are 4 flavors of Phantom 3 series drones, and can be ordered now at the DJI store.
Meanwhile, 3D Robotics, operating from 3DR.com, announced its drone model, delivering the “Dawn of the Aerial Age“, in a video that mimics the classic monolith scene from the film 2001 A Space Odyssey.
The 3DR drone will be revealed in just 4 days and is expected to be a strong competitor to the Phantom 3.

A drone is definitely something I want to buy one day – my cousin has one and the footage he films is absolutely awesome.
