It’s Friday and what a better day to troll out some freebies!
With the Chinese domain market exploding, it’d be great to bypass the crowds currently selling overpriced domains.
So we partnered with Tā Mā De Gàn Domains in Beijing, China, and one of their helpfull employees provides us with the Free Chinese Domain of the Day. 😀
Xiexie Viki!
Without any further ado, today’s free domain name, available to register as of this very minute, is:
Have a nice day, and good luck with your Chinese domain investments!
Already registered. These “overpriced” domains as you call them are going to look cheap next year. Things that we don’t understand are not all wrong. I’ve been there. It hurts not to participate in the biggest price explosion in our short domain history. But Schwartz, Berkens and all the others that have these types of names are killing it. People said it was CRAZY to buy 4N.coms at $5K. Now they are 20K. Funny that domain investors sell their keywords as unique and rare yet a number or four short letters can’t be to those same people. Don’t question why someone wants it. Just try and measure just how many do and how long you think that want will last. Thanks for publishing this
Shane – Glad to hear it got registered, it’s a great domain, at least that’s what our Chinese source said so who are we to judge. 😉
From reg fee to $$,$$$ that’s what I’m talking about!
Overpriced: When everyone jumps into the game, flipping them for $50 – $100 profit. That’s what pushes people into believing that domaining equals easy money. Now that you can’t get a LLL .com for under $20k, the flipping game ends. End user buyers is where the money is.
See you at NamesCon! 😀
Hey DG I have just withdrawn 888666444/com from my Namepros sales thread …… Time to re-assess for the long haul
With only a small portion of the Asian market online at the moment it appears these short, easy to remember names and number will continue to be used. Mobile as well is a big factor. Everyone access’s the net with thier phone. I know 0 is not a good number in Chinese terms but all the numbers and letters on the right of the mobile keyboard are “gold” imo. They are very easy to type on a phone. Up, up and away. Even if they dive it’s a small price to pay if you want to dip your feet in the “game”.
Last month, I grabbed 88888488888.
It’s a crap shoot for sure, but all the 88888N88888 were/are gone, many snagged by Chinese registrants.
The 4 is actually in a good place: 848 = “Wealthy for 8 lifetimes.” 84 and 48 are also positive
I think the 10, 11, and 12-number domain market is sheer insanity, but we’ll see…
As of this posting, 13-N 8888884888888 [dot] com is available, although the other 888888N888888 are gone.
I have my limits.
🙂
I think the 9N will boom ……if you have “pattern” domains
Hire – Why stop there, 12N is the new 9N 😀
