Fun Sunday: Domainers stuck in the DNFaces .com time capsule

DNFaces.com - a time capsule featuring DNForum members.

Alongside the launch of DNForumrecently voted as the best domain name forum for 5 years in a row – came DNFaces.com

The brainchild of Andrew Bennett – owner of Whois-Search – who was a DNForum moderator during that time, DNFaces.com was meant to serve as a picture folio of DNForum member profiles.

While popular in early 2002, the most recent profiles are from 2007, thus serving as a time capsule of domainers.

Some notable entries include Dale Hubbard (aZooZa) of UKDomainForum.co.uk, Jamie (yofie) of DotWeekly.com, Markus Schnermann (Logop) of KeywordDomains and of course Ron Jackson (Duke of Earl) of DNJournal, sporting a photo from the 1970’s! πŸ˜€

The members are listed alphabetically per their DNForum username, but many have changed their usernames since then. There is still an option to apply for the creation of an account.

All in all, a fun insight into the faces of DNForum from the early days!
