Handshake complete: Ebola.com changes ownership

Ebola domains are spreading around the world.

Ebola.com sale is now complete.

The domain name Ebola.com became the focus of much discussion, and the target of unsavory articles from online media, once it was made available for sale.

Mr. Jon Schultz gallantly fought back the barrage of online mud-slinging, explaining that owning a premium domain that matches a deadly disease and offering it for sale is a well-established right.

Last month, Mr. Schultz announced the sale of Ebola.com to a fund, that paid $50,000 dollars plus Cannabis Sativa stock, for a total of $200,000 dollars.

According to DomainTools, the domain’s ownership changed over the weekend, from the holding account of Mr. Schultz to that of Mr. Eric Miller of the Weed Growth Fund, and should thus be considered complete.

The stock of Cannabis Sativa managed by the fund has dropped in value slightly, since the sale agreement was first announced; that portion is now worth $149,505 dollars.
