HugeDomains sucks up every domain that drops these days; the mega-registrant with more than 4 million domain names under management, takes no prisoners.
Things might be literal when it comes down to the domain PolishDeathCamp.com, that’s up for sale for $895 dollars.
According to a new, controversial law in Poland, it’s now a crime to refer to the Auschwitz concentration camp as a “Polish death camp.”
CNN reports:
“The law would make it illegal to accuse the nation of complicity in crimes committed by Nazi Germany, including the Holocaust. It would also ban the use of terms such as “Polish death camps” in relation to Auschwitz and other such camps located in Nazi-occupied Poland. Violations will be punished by a fine or a jail sentence of up to three years.”
So is HugeDomains breaking Polish law with this domain?
Technically, not yet, as it will take several days for the law to come to effect. Until then, you can buy the domain at the going asking price. Hurry!
