Sometimes good things take a while, and in the case of the domain Medida.com it took a little over two decades.
Registered in April 1998, the Spanish term for “measures” has been in the possession of Telepathy Inc. since at least 2007. That’s the oldest WHOIS records on DomainTools, but a 2002 record from Archive.org shows that Telepathy owned the domain back then as well.
Most large portfolio holders never developed their domains despite all good intentions. The new owners of Medida.com will definitely do so, having paid an unspecified amount of money to acquire the domain.
Whether it sold for five figures or more, Medida.com is just one of many dictionary domains going to companies – as opposed to creative, unpronounceable “words” that often lack a few vowels.
