Melbourne IT, the domain registrar involved in yesterday’s successful compromising of the Twitter, NY Times and Huffington Post UK web sites and domains, is apparently still the target of the Syrian Electronic Army.
The corporate blog of Melbourne IT, apparently based on WordPress, was defaced and its content was substituted with the message:
“Hacked by SEA, Your servers security is very weak”
After this incident, it is expected that Melbourne IT will ramp up their security, in order to ensure the safe-keeping of thousands of domain names.
