Microsoft Windows 10 is slated for launch in the second half of 2015, and it will apparently contain a new web browser, called ‘Spartan.’
As the name indicates, the Spartan browser will be lean and fast, built using the Microsoft in-house toolkits such as the Chakra Javascript engine and the Trident rendering engine.
Although the name ‘Spartan’ is far from final, someone picked up SpartanBrowser.com earlier today, according to DomainTools.
Can’t launch a product without some domain squatter ruining the plans!
Whether Microsoft will regain its faded glory with the launch of Windows 10 and the ‘Spartan browser’ remains to be seen.
