We haven’t seen a ccTLD domain being mentioned “in the wild” for a while; keeping track of such occurrences outside of the Internet can be a fun activity.
Dot .NL is the national domain of The Netherlands, which went live on 4/25/1986 as the world’s 5th ccTLD.
While ccTLDs are two characters long, they look strange when paired with particularly long domains, and the following one is 25 letters long.
AmbasNaturalHairAndBeauty.nl points to the web site of Amba, who lives in The Netherlands and somehow fit the long URL on the back of her Toyota Yaris compact car.
Thanks to Albert Schimmel of Sedo for the photo.
