Nothing beats a good pun or sexual innuendo, and Nutflix appears to be doing just that.
The obvious Netflix “typo” is gearing up for its product launch: serving adult porn movies.
“Nutflix – Everybody loves porn!” – says the headline on its web site, Nutflix.com.
The domain name Nutflix.com was registered in 2001, but has been used for barely anything more than a PPC lander.
In October of this year, things changed, and Nutflix.com has become an “invite only” platform, seeking people’s contact information, to notify them at launch.
Will there be issues with Netflix and its famous brand, once Nutflix launches?
That, remains to be seen. NETFLIX is a famous trademark registered in 1999, for the following classes of services:
- Rental of pre-recorded videos, and
- [ Retail store services and ] computerized on-line retail services featuring pre-recorded videos
There are many ways that Nutflix and its Nutflix.com web site can run afoul of the trademark or copyright laws, but for now we’ll have to wait for its launch.
Story kudos: Dale G.
Nutflix could get busted!
Anon – I see what you did there.

Interesting, the trademark from 1999. I did not first hear of them until about 2009, and now going into 2019 they are dominating. Seems like it was a 20-year plan!
Michael – There’s also a typo being auctioned, Nitflex 🙂 https://www.dropcatch.com/domain/Nitflex.com
