It’s a competitive world in social media out there, and more so when Millennial parents are involved.
According to a research conducted by OnePoll on behalf of GoDaddy, 20% of Millennial parents changed, or strongly considered picking their baby’s name based on which domain names were available at the time.
There are so many new gTLDs out there, that this should no be a problem.
Millennial parents are much more involved with getting their kids set up with their own web sites too, as 38% have created, or are considering creating a web site for their kids. No wonder spamming web design services from India keep on hammering new domain registrants!
The top two reasons parents said they created a web site for their children, include for future job searching (48%) and college application (47%) purposes.
