The landing page is seeking offers with $500,000 dollars as the minimum amount. Typically, this indicates Oxley got the domain name for significantly less.
The WHOIS change occurred yesterday, moving the domain away from Tucows and onto Namecheap.
Registered in 1996, Invite.com was acquired by First Place Internet, Inc. in 2006.
Brent Oxley has been accumulating premium domain names at a pace unknown to top notch domain investors. There’s no doubt regular investors can’t match the cash liquidity of the HostGator founder, who sold it in 2012 for $299 million dollars.
