Australian company, PGT Reclaimed, dropped the proverbial ball on the premium domain Reclaimed.com allowing its registration to lapse.
The domain Reclaimed.com dropped and was caught by DropCatch, where it’s currently in auction.
Why would a large corporation with a registered trademark that incorporates Reclaimed drop the matching domain after 20 years of ownership?
The domain’s admin account was linked to an email address on a domain that switched from being hosted to being a lander by Network Solutions. That most likely caused the lack of email reminders, as PGTmate.com displays a generic NetSol lander.
Now, Reclaimed.com is being auctioned with the high bid at $5,555 dollars currently. The usual group of “suspects” are bidding on the domain, with less than 2 days to go.
Let’s hope that it won’t get reclaimed by the previous owner!
