Rick Schwartz announced today that he’s finally launched DomainKing.tel – a domain he registered in 2009.
Dot .Tel domains act like contact cards, and their content can be customized with a variety of templates, but they cannot be pointed to regular web sites.
This approach cost dot .Tel healthy numbers; dot .Tel has a little over 100,000 domains currently.
In other news, the DomainKing.NG scandal has raised Rick Schwartz’s domain, DomainKing.com back to the top spot of Google searches for “DomainKing” – a year ago it had fallen lower thanks to the Nigerian domain registrant’s aggressive marketing.
The real Domain King® has been actively using Twitter to share his domain-related positions; meanwhile, the majority of voters in our poll would like to see Rick Schwartz return to active blogging.
