Sav.com and CleanDNS rolled out anti-abuse operation

In a significant move to enhance internet safety and combat domain name abuse, domain registrar Sav.com and CleanDNS recently deactivated over 60,000 abusive domains.

These domains were repeatedly involved in phishing, spam, malware, and other forms of DNS abuse and online harm.

CleanDNS, established to reduce well-documented abuse and online harm, collaborates with registries, registrars, and infrastructure providers in the domain name industry. Since 2021, CleanDNS has been working with Sav to manage abuse, with their analysts operating behind the scenes to identify, escalate, and mitigate harmful activities.
