Screenshots.com can now store really long home pages.
Screenshots.com, the sister company of DomainTools, silently introduced an important change sometime in August.
In the past, the storing of web site content as screenshots, was limited to a particular dimension vertically.
Pretty much, Screenshots.com was storing a rectangular frame of the web sites it crawled, starting at the top and continuing up to the proverbial “browser fold.”
It seems that this has all changed.
Screenshots captured as early as August 13, show that Screenshots.com is now going down “all the way.” 😀
This is great news for particularly long homepages, such as Sex.com or DomainGang.com and a definite move in the right direction!
