If you wonder whether Warren Buffett‘s domain dropped, don’t worry.
Some silly people – men or women – are bidding on a Warren Buffett domain that is a typo.
The auction for WarrenBuffet.com over at DropCatch has attracted 20 bidders and has reached $390 dollars already with less than a day left to go.
At a time that good domains can be had for less, why would someone be so stupid as to bid on a typo of a billionaire’s name?
Warren Buffett is 88 years old and smart enough to not sweat such small things as typosquatting.
Buffett’s official web site, at BerkshireHathaway.com, demonstrates the simplicity of the man who’s net worth of $84 billion doesn’t take into account the more than $30 billion dollars he has donated.
Buffett’s name is unrelated to a “buffet” that is a popular way of presenting food on a table.
How high will this silly domain auction for WarrenBuffet.com end at? 😀

Hi..
That is interesting one but expected one…
As you know people acquire lot of typo domains to park and earn something…the same applies here…and Warren Buffett is highly respected among investors..and usually seen in searches related to earning money and investment strategies..so this could be one possible way to exploit his reputation… IMO
Maybe they want to open a buffet in a small basement warren somewhere. everything is not about the super rich.
