Spaceship delivered on its promise to open its highly-anticipated Seller Hub today; while it’s in beta, the platform is functional and open to select beta-testers.
The Seller Hub is bow available in the Spaceship menu, among the other domain management options. Once that icon is selected, the Seller Hub appears:
Adding domains is easy and they can imported via an existing spreadsheet template setting parameters such as price, or entered in copy/paste mode. Your list of domains should then look something like this:
Once enabled, the “for sale” landers look very enticing—yet clean—following the modern look and feel of the Spaceship platform:
Negotiations are easy and work in “conversation” or “chat” mode.
Once the buyer submits their contact information (name, email, phone number) and confirms their email, they are able to communicate back and forth freely with the buyer:
The seller’s first names are displayed. Both parties are sent emails when a new message is relayed, or when either party has made an offer, countered, or declined an offer.
Overall, it seems like a very easy to follow exchange that reminds us of the good old Domain Name Sales & Uniregistry days! 🙂
As this is in beta, we are not sure what payment methods are supported or how is the payment handled; it would also be interesting to see how domains not at Spaceship are managed.
We hope that all of this will be answered soon in a dedicated FAQ section about the Spaceship Seller Hub.
Definitely an exciting launch from the Spaceship.com crew!
