Poor Disney Enterprises.
As soon as they announced the names of several characters from the upcoming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” movie, they got registered.
To be fair, Disney managed to register TheForceAwakens.com before announcing the title of the movie, and that’s the smart way to go these days; get the dot .com before anything gets leaked.
However, once they revealed the name of Poe Dameron, X-Wing pilot, PoeDameron.com got registered.
The same goes for Kylo Ren, a Sith Lord with a crucifix shaped light saber, KyloRen.com got picked up by another domain speculator.
Two other names that were revealed, Finn and Rey, are far too common to be available in several extensions. One more, BB-8 was registered early this year by a Chinese online bet company, who registered BB-8.com.
The Star Wars franchise is expected to generate billions of dollars, despite its apparent death after the original trilogy.
