The domain auction for SteveBallmer.com ended at $1,100 dollars, according to NameBio. Clearly not the type of number one would expect to see.
In our educated opinion, bidding on famous persons’ domains is a risky business, even if they never owned that domain previously. Even worse, bidding on dropped domains of famous people that forgot to renew them, is a practice that’s definitely cybersquatting.
