Telepathy, Inc. often makes the news due to the expertly priced sales of its premium domain name portfolio at Telepathy.com.
Nat Cohen‘s company has established itself since the early 2000’s as a company that acquires and sells domains after expert valuations.
Little is known about domain names the company drops, however. We came across one such rare occasion, with a Godzilla domain. 😀
Pronounced “Gojira” in Japanese, the IDN domain name is using the Japanese equivalent for “.com” which is .コム so the domain name is ゴジラ.コム in Japanese kanji.
Godzilla or Gojira is a popular keyword in the Japanese culture, and there’s no doubt that during the 4 years of holding onto this domain it probably had some type-in traffic from Japan.
Meanwhile, the domains Godzilla.com and Gojira.com have been registered since 1995 and 1998 respectively.
