Telepathy Inc. appears to have sold yet another domain, just one day after it sold RNG.org.
This time around, the domain Petrel.com appears to have changed hands moving to Namecheap and away from Dynadot.
Registered in 2000, Petrel.com had been in the possession of Nat Cohen‘s company since January 2019. At the time, the domain was acquired from NameFind; it’s a domain that belonged to the Marchex portfolio acquired by GoDaddy a decade ago.
Currently, the domain Petrel.com does not resolve and it’s listed for sale at Afternic with a $50,000 dollar minimum. The buyer could be a domain investor seeking to flip it to a funded company, such as the Kazakhstani Petrel.ai for example.
Or, it could be a “Petrel” company themselves: Domainleads lists 49 registered TLDs for the “Petrel” keyword with 7 of these confirmed as developed.
