It’s the end of an era; for those that are familiar with the bit-torrent scene, the torrent tracker Demonoid has closed down.
After years of operating as Demonoid.com, the torrent tracker of pirated content changed its primary domain to Demonoid.me, to avoid the long arm of the US law.
Still, a hacking attack and a police raid in Ukraine where the tracking servers were hosted, ended its life; just like that of Megaupload.
The owners of the domain Demonoid.com are believed to be at large in Mexico and have listed the domain for sale at Sedo.
Demonoid.com receives insane amounts of traffic to this date.
Will they be able to sell before they get arrested?
