Domain investors often amass a variety of digital assets, stashing them in portfolios.
Some domainers collect aged domain names, or numerics, or generic words. Others, gather domains related to news, products or brandable words.
Regardless of what type of domains you focus on, your domain collection is something that you should be proud of.
But is it cushy?
A company applied to register DOMAIN COLLECTION at the USPTO, and the application is about pillows and other furniture.
The original use of the word “domain” extends to a variety of fields – or should we say, domains – and in this case, the company’s application has been opposed to, by the registrant of URBAN DOMAIN, for the same range of items.
It gets even more interesting.
DOMAINCOLLECTION – without a space separating the words, is already a registered trademark, about domain names this time.
I prefer “cashy” domains
What was that soap opera from the 80s/90s again? “As the world turns”? Maybe something like “As the domain industry turns” would be an interesting show to watch where it covers things like this with a splash of comedy. 🙂
