A month later, Chinese domain investors hold the bulk of the dot .Mom domain inventory, with approximately 89% out of the current count of 48,700 .Mom domains.
The initial promotion of $0.88 dollars per registration helped out quite a bit.
And yet, the most valuable dot .Mom domain was not registered until 20 days later, the result of a viral video featuring a mom laughing her head off while wearing a Chewbacca mask.
You got that right.
The most valuable dot .Mom domain is Chewbacca.Mom. 
The domain was registered on May 23rd, about four days after the “Chewbacca mom” video went viral.
