Walmart Bettergoods brand: Domainer hits jackpot with

A domain investor has hit it the jackpot, in our opinion, as Walmart introduced a new brand, Bettergoods.

The Walmart store label is tailored for the trendsetting, budget-conscious younger demographic. With a selection of 300 new products, the launch of Bettergoods marks Walmart’s most extensive private brand food expansion in two decades.

Walmart stated Bettergoods items will range in price from $2 to $15, with most of them under the $5 dollar mark.

Meanwhile, the domain is listed for sale at with a $30,000 dollar price tag. In our opinion, the asking price is rather conservative; we would not be surprised if Walmart forked out six figures to acquire this domain name.

On the other hand, keep in mind that Walmart and its Apollo foods division have applied for two BETTERGOODS trademarks, one this January and another in April 2023.

In 2020, the domain was listed for sale at Dan with a $10,000 dollar price tag. It appears to have been registered to the same Korean registrant since 2006 but it was originally registered to Bronx, NY based Goods Extraordinaire Inc. in 2002 and dropped.
