Entrepreneurship unites but there’s an asshole in every religion

The untimely loss of Igal Lichtman prompted many to relive great moments that they shared throughout the domain entrepreneur’s life.

Those that knew him in person, pointed out not just the business aspect of their connection, but the remarkable human side of Igal’s personality.

Born in Ukraine during the Soviet era, he relocated to Israel and built his business from scratch.

Igal openly shared with others the secrets to success, including forming StartupSeeds, a non-profit that fosters and encourages entrepreneurship among the youth of Israel, through a variety of online and offline activities.

Igal was also a devout father of six, a husband and a family man that served his family and country; the latter by fulfilling his military obligations, like every other able-bodied male and female, by serving in the air force.

Entrepreneurship knows no boundaries, no organized religious beliefs, gender or race and no sexual orientation. Entrepreneurship is the motivational force to improve humanity as a whole, and to respect the planet we all share.

For some asshole to disrespect the loss of such an iconic man before his body was even buried and mourned over, means that all hope is lost for those who blindly embrace religions that teach hatred and revenge.

It seems that any site you go to these days you see non-relevant comments about religion, politics or the origin of life. Comments like the one you mention proves how rampant off topic-spam or thread-jacking has become and the need for a new class of spam filters needed to combat this.

Overall what shocked me the most was that Igal didn’t have his digital assets protected or willed over to his family. I could only assume given his success as an entrepreneur that his family are financially well off and that the domains left to drop where like loose change to him or maybe just wanting to give a fair well present to the domain community at large by letting them drop.

In his final spell I’m sure the thought of his portfolio’s fate would of crossed his mind so it’s an enigma as to why it panned out as it did. Although I never got the opportunity to meet him he has made an impact on a lot of people over the years and would be truly missed my those who valued his friendship, kindredship and professional expertise.
