The GoDaddy mail servers have been down for several hours today, apparently as the result of an attack by a spin-off of the group Anonymous.
As tweeted by the “Anonymous Own3r” earlier today:

Meanwhile, GoDaddy is currently addressing the issue, that has caused delays in system emails, including text messages for its two-way authentication process that are taking much longer to reach their destination.
