British print and online publication News of the World is ending its run tomorrow. Both NewsOfTheWorld.com and its British counter-part NewsOfTheWorld.co.uk thus become redundant and are expected to be terminated.

What they did was wrong, but the British public must also take some responsibility, in this age of celebrity scandal and gossip, they were doing ( wrongly) what was lapped up by idiots concerned with what Katie Price was up to or what ( or who)footballers were doing at the weekend.
People are more concerned with scandal,sleaze and gossip than genuine news.
Tiger Woods is another example of the media sensationalism, i couldn’t give a toss what he has done in his private life,he is an amazing golfer and i want to see him play golf, not do some stupid apology in a ridiculous blazer to everyone, it’s none of my business what he has been upto, no need to apologise to me, just play golf,the only person he should apologise to is his wife and kids, its no ones business but theirs.
People need to stop being concerned with other peoples lives and get on with their own,stop buying gossip mags, stop giving z list celebs air time and enjoy their own lives.
Having said that, hacking people phones particulary those of dead soldiers families and Madeline Mccans parent is completely out of order , so good riddance.
