And now for some really bad news about TRAFFIC…

Márcio Mello Chaves “Wanted” poster – notice the bottle of antibacterial gel.

The really bad news of the day is that those who decided not to attend this year’s TRAFFIC in Ft. Lauderdale, missed out on a great opportunity to establish or renew valuable business relationships.

Guys, what were you thinking?

Not only this event is guaranteed to be the best of all in recent memory, but TRAFFIC 2012 will be remembered for its clear demonstration of trends in domainer clothing fashion.

Morgan Linton sported a comfy pair of Fashion Metric sandals to the cabana networking, whereas Mike Berkens showed up wearing a classy Nautica shirt and shorts.

Ammar Kubba showed once again that classic silk shirts are always in fashion, and Rick Schwartz looked youthful and slender in jeans and a polo shirt.

Mike Mann’s Andre Agassi sneakers attracted the praise of everyone present, and Ron Jackson arrived with a new sub-compact Sony camera, looking buff and ripped from his regular workout.

The night closed with parties sponsored by Afternic and NameJet, with Matt Overman’s impressive 6ft 5″ stature having a bird’s eye view of the gatherings. The food was scrumptious and the music brought everyone into a boogie and swinging mood with Eminem overtones. Yo!

Kidding aside, Day #1 of TRAFFIC started with the best expectations, lots of fun and plenty of opportunities for social networking.

We can’t wait for the Monday luncheon, where the virtual emasculation of award-winning reverse domain name hijacker, Márcio Mello Chaves will take place.
