Another day, another yuan in China; at least, that’s the general idea among investors.
With the Chinese economy hitting a plateau and growth tumbling, the alarms are ringing loud for the communist state’s government.
For the first time ever outside of a war situation, the Chinese workers are preparing for layoffs at a massive scale.
We’re not talking about a few thousand jobs here and there. Nope.
In the next two to three years, as many as 6 million Chinese will lose their employment, after the Chinese government aims at dropping a large percentage of state employees.
For the time being, sales among domain investors in China are warming up, and we’re finally seeing some movement in short domain sales. We’re tracking the .CN and .COM ccTLD and TLD as a valuable gauge of activity.
Once again, numeric domains and three letter .com’s join the ever-so-popular domain “Chips” among the Chinese. Let’s hope that the trend will continue, despite the somber news about China’s economic future.
