As Mike Berkens pointed out yesterday, Rick’s registration of the domain name MinneapolisPlasticSurgery.co hit a legal snafu, when the dot com owners demanded that the .co be handed over to them. Rick responded by arranging for the handing over of the domain via its domain registrar (Tucows).
Their legal team, however, appeared to be taking things slower than expected and thus the case reached the National Arbitration Forum (NAF).
That set off Rick Schwartz to a stratospheric frenzy of uncouth ball-blasting exchanges; the incident’s details were posted on Ass.com and on MinneapolisPlasticSurgerySucks.com
It seems that this extreme method of telling the Minneapolis Plastic Surgery lawyers about their lack of action worked. Meanwhile, Rick has removed the text from public view but it can be seen on Google cache as follows:

Rick Schwartz never attempted to sell the domain to the MinneapolisPlasticSurgery.com owners; the dot co was merely part of a portfolio of domain registrations that involved premium keywords and geo-domains. Unfortunately, “Minneapolis Plastic Surgery” is also a registered trademark, despite its seemingly generic nature.
While many criticized Rick for his choice of words and extremity of responding, it’s fair to say that when the other party drags their feet with regards to a process it’s frustrating enough watching one’s name being dragged in the legal dirt.
