Free from the domain blogging shackles, Rick Schwartz continues to enjoy life and registering domain names.
While a recent barrage of political domain registrations might indicate a change in focus, the Domain King® has also been tapping the Urban Dictionary resources.
A few years ago we shared some entries from this unorthodox lexicon related to domains and domainers.
Titled “Fun! The World of Domaining according to Urban Dictionary” it was a small example of how Urban Dictionary authors view the world of domainers.
But not everyone thinks that the Urban Dictionary is worth our time and effort.
Serial entrepreneur and domain investor, Mike Mann, seems to consider Urban Dictionary “useless” and a candidate for “the worst site on the net.”
It’s not rare for leading domain investors to have opposite views on a wide variety of everyday subjects.
On a related note, it seems that Rick Schwartz has registered a few more Urban Dictionary terms recently:
blamestormer.com
fauxpologist.com
noocation.com
tebowball.com
tokecation.com
Tapping online resources such as the Urban Dictionary looks like fun to us! 😀
While we’re on the subject of domain name jargon, don’t forget to check out our open series of domain-related keywords, at Domain Name Jargon.
C’MON MANN!…The URBAN DICTIONARY is all good fun… Read it when feeling blue, it does wonders…
Rick should be paying you. Lol
