Time for another editorial.
Some domainers appear to be still in denial regarding the adoption of gTLDs, and for some reason have taken a hybrid approach.
On one hand, they bad-mouth gTLDs in every way possible. On the other hand, they dip into the gTLD pool for “research“, or “for fun“, or “to experiment.”
There’s nothing wrong with fun, research or experiments – as long as one understands that once you’re in, you’re in.
You cannot claim that a product sucks all while you make consistent use of it.
So here’s a little related story slash joke, which I’ll call “The old man and the stripper contest parable.”
If you dislike raunchy jokes, please leave now. 😀
Here goes.
An old man boasting about his sexual prowess as a much younger guy, was told that there was a competition in town that involved strippers.
Off he went to the private club, where 100 beautiful strippers were bent over the dance area, naked.
“Hey old man, what are you doing here?” asked the organizer of the event.
The old man responded that he had heard of the contest: whoever banged all 100 strippers that night would get a million dollars.
“Ok, go ahead and let’s see what you can do!” said the organizer, laughing.
Sure enough, the old man whipped it out, and stuck it inside the first stripper, then took it out and stuck it into the next one, then pulled out and moved to the third one, repeating the feat all the way down to the 100th stripper.
“Where’s my million bucks?” asked the old man.
The event organizer rolled his eyes, shook his head and said, “That’s not banging, you stuck your dick there once!”
The old man looked at the dude and said:
“Listen kid, pull your pants down, bend over and let me stick it in once, then let’s see how you can go around town telling your buddies you never got fucked in the ass.”
TGIF.
