GoDaddy helps Haiti earthquake fund with a $500,000 donation

GoDaddy is donating half-a-million dollars to help victims of yesterday’s earthquake in Haiti.

The world’s biggest registrar via its CEO, Bob Parsons, announced today that a check for $500,000 has been send to assist the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti.

Also, web developer & domainer Tia Wood – alone in a sea of domaining blogsmade a similar plea earlier today.

We need more compassionate businesses in domaining!

Wait a minute, you posted REAL news here? That’s unusual…

Kudo’s to Bob and company for stepping up and helping those in need once again. Sure 1/2 a million may not all that much compared to the money GD makes, but it’s going to do a lot of good. It’s great to see companies I support give back to their local community and the global community, too!

John – there’s truth in every article we post, whether it’s news, gossip or inside information. Usually the names are changed to protect the not-so-innocent 😀

Did you miss the Bill Kara interview? Some skeptical people discounted it but it was 100% real. That’s why you should read DomainGang daily.

GoDaddy is indeed a quiet giver in every occasion of a major destruction, including hurricane Katrina, the Asian tsunami etc.
