We thought we’d wrap the week of the .XXX launch with an open poll about domain registrations.
More than .XXX 55,000 domains were registered on day one and the numbers should increase daily – about half of the registrations were through GoDaddy and its numerous registrar outfits!
But in the end, it’s a domain investor’s choice whether they register, park or develop .XXX domain names.

I voted “0,” don’t plan to reg any.
I don’t want to be associated with sleaze and low-life properties.
I don’t see how a positive spin could be associated with such a TLD, other than defensive regs, which, imo, is tantamount to legal extortion.

Ms Domainer – So you object to a TLD that is very open and sincere about its scope and content?
Unlike generic TLDs, the .XXX TLD makes a full disclosure: LOOK AT ME, MY CONTENT IS ADULT-ORIENTED.
You’d be surprised about the porn found in innocent-sounding .com, .net and .org domains 😀
