Rick Schwartz: Next year’s TRAFFIC will move to drier climates

After checking the weather channel, a very frustrated Rick Schwartz announced today that the next TRAFFIC conference will take place in locations with a drier climate.

“In the past, we considered Arizona for its strategic location – not too far from the west, central and east coasts”, said Rick.

“But with this god damn weather pouring down on our cabanas I see no reason why we should not make the ‘Ditat Deus’ state our permanent location”, he added.

Wind gusts of more than 25 mph have upset the cabanas, forcing sunbathing domainers to gather their laptops and pina coladas and actually head inside, where the conference sessions occur.

The outlook for the next few days is not that great, according to Weather.com with more rain and wind expected, which should be a boon for the scheduled domain auction.

“My luck, picking those days is like picking the lotto winning numbers so I plan to play this week, just for kicks”, said Rick. “But you know, this means at least that we’ll have all attendees present for a full photo session instead of empty chairs, I know those folks won’t be out there lazing in the sun!”

TRAFFIC Arizona 2012 seems like a great opportunity after all.
