These days, it’s all about gTLDs.
A couple of weeks since ICANN was officially authorized to go forth with the launch of a gTLD universe, it became apparent that some folks will attempt to bend the rules.
Getting a trademark registered at the USPTO was considered to be one such sneaky method, in order to get a head start from other applicants for the same gTLD.
Except, that is not really the case as the USPTO has now realized that and is turning such applications for dot this and dot that down 😀
