After months of research we are now able to share the details about a secret society of domainers, called The Rosemary Order of the Inverted Domain Cross.
Its members gather every second Tuesday of the month, and arrange for the acquisitions and sales of domain names that will be announced months later. In essence, they have control over which domains get sold and which remain in registry limbo.
The self-proclaimed “Knights” of the order are sworn in secrecy and public humiliation is only part of the punishment, should the secrets be revealed.
Our agents attended several meetings as food catering personnel, room service or other such disguise.
The results were staggering!
Three out of four domain sales achieved on Sedo, Afternic and eBay are first filtered through the Rosemary Order knighthood, who have the right to say “yea” or “nay” to such offers placed.
There is no clear procedure to become a Knight, other than possess an God-awful lot of money to begin with.
Some members of the Rosemary Order of the Inverted Domain Cross have offered their 18 year old daughters as collateral or their wives – if the latter are in great shape.
Some of the rituals performed during the gatherings included domain registrations in the nude or in pagan outfits, multiple registrant sessions and oral registrations.
The latter involve the citing of symbolic phrases, such as “Albion registrum alus viarem domainum“, while in ecstasy incited by incense and the consumption of aphrodisiac food.
The Rosemary Order of the Inverted Domain Cross includes several known domainers, some of which produce a turnover of thousands of dollars daily. Obviously, we can’t reveal their names.
If you are interested in applying for Knighthood, leave a comment below and we’ll put in a good word for you next month.
How about I just kill them all.
Hey Crazy – that’s one crazy statement.
