It’s almost Friday, and we feel for you. Sometimes, Fridays arrive a day too late.
Mike Berkens over at TheDomains.com recently announced that only registered users can leave comments from now on. The amount of trolls and anonymous cowards was just too much; perhaps as much as 50% of the comments left in a post of the most popular domain blog.

I voted “Bad idea,” but it’s his blog and he should be able to do what he wants and needs.
It just may have become too much for him to handle, so I can understand it.
I don’t like signing into my Google account via a third-party site, so I won’t be commenting on his blog. Maybe that’s a good thing!
I have NEVER commented anonymously, though. If I feel uneasy about something I’m about to say, then I have learned to to put a lid on it.
My online identity is easy to verify.

Totally horrible idea. I won’t be visiting him anymore. Haven’t been to DNJournal since they stopped allowing comments.
