Ron Jackson: Returning to Television and News broadcasting

DNJournal editor, Ron Jackson, may be best known for his electronic publication of ten years, but the ever-active Ohio native spent many successful years in television broadcasting.

Now, Ron is a “hanging chad state” resident and contemplates his return to his first love, television news-casting.

“In as few words as possible: I’m going back to doing news as an anchorman for Channel 4 News,” said Ron Jackson, earlier today. “It’s in my heart, to be there, reaching deep into the soul of American tv viewers while delivering the daily news, with dramatic emphasis and a stentorian voice” he added.

Ron Jackson returns to his first love, television news broadcasting.

Many of us were not shocked by today’s news, as Ron shared his plans with other TRAFFIC attendees, during a crazy, after-hours party that Gregg “triple-g” McNair threw on October 9th. After a few glasses of Greek red wine, Ron spilled the beans, and everyone was excited.

“Television is a medium often overlooked today, especially since everything seems to be Internet-related,” said Ron Jackson. “By re-inventing the role of television, we are returning a piece of American history back to its roots, when anchors were the apostles of news and journalism. And this is something that I’m looking forward to assisting with!” exclaimed Ron, clearly emotional.

We can’t wait to see Ron Jackson on Channel 4 News, very soon!
