They are finally making it.
Twenty years after the original movie “Dumb and Dumber” delivered actors Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels to movie cult stratosphere, the sequel is finally being produced by Universal Pictures.
Yes, we know.
In 2003, “Dumb & Dumberer” became a prequel to the story, but the two characters weren’t played by the original actors and to many that didn’t deliver the antics of the original protagonists.
The fun news: whoever registered DumbAndDumber2.com in hopes of selling it is losing out. The movie’s title is “Dumb and Dumber To.”
According to IMDB:
“Twenty years after the dimwits set out on their first adventure, they head out in search of one of their long lost children in the hope of gaining a new kidney.”
Judging from the WHOIS info of both DumbAndDumberTo.com and DumbAndDumberTwo.com the producers have already reserved the domain pair via the use of DNStination, Inc. a subsidiary of MarkMonitor that offers corporate identity protection services, among other things.
