Boca Raton 10/17/2013 – PRONEWSWIRE – For immediate release.
Former US Vice President, Al Gore, has come to an agreement to acquire top tier domainer network, Domainers.org, from French domain entrepreneur, Francois.
Both parties came to an agreement after a night of wine tasting in Paris, France, during which Al Gore agreed to pay eight figures for the domain and domainer database, including a free banner ad for the Democratic Party.
“It’s an extraordinary acquisition,” said Al Gore, smiling.
“My attempt in 2009 to buy Twitter gave me enough alcohol processing capabilities to outsmart any business resistance,” added the former Vice President.
Long considered to be the father of the Internet, Al Gore has been busy yachting and authoring in recent years; his latest acquisition will catapult his business ventures into domaining as well.
“Cannot comment!” said Francois, smiling.
“It’s happy sale, and all domainer excited, absolument!” added Francois, finishing off a glass of champagne.
No immediate changes are planned for Francois’s other venture, Domaining.com, which will continue to display oversized banner ads that take over 2/3 of the screen, or more.
